The Checkpoint

During the Central American war of the 1970’s, cities are bombed, homes are destroyed and families have no choice but to evacuate in search of new places to live. The dictatorship won't allow citizens to move from the country and border-crossing has become increasingly dangerous. A father and son are on a long drive away from their war-torn city.
